I was having horrible performance with 40%+ TCP retransmits and abysmal speeds on 2.4ghz bands. After pulling my hair out and spending way too much time figuring out what the heck happened… I found a Reddit post point to the release thread on ubiquiti forums. The release notes for 6.6.55 point to many issues on 2.4ghz.
The U6-Enterprise will support DFS operation in 5 GHz, and 4x4 MIMO with 160 MHz channels in 5 GHz and 6 GHz. It’s the same size and shape as the U6-LR and AC-HD. The U6-Enterprise doesn’t come with a power injector, and all the injectors Ubiquiti sells only support 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps connections. In Ubiquiti's lineup of PtP and PtMP radios, 5 GHz is the most common option. For connections with a clear line of sight, they are a good default option. Frequencies above and below 5 GHz have different characteristics, making them better suited to certain types of networks. If you want a more enterprise experience though pfsense is going to be a better option. Most modern UniFi APs require 802.3af or 802.3at compliant PoE. This is 48 volt "active" PoE. As long as you stick with IEEE standard PoE adapters you should be fine. Watch for 1Gb PoE adapters as well. I think some might be limited to 100Mb. Watch out for Ubiquiti 24 volt passive PoE devices.

The lites are much less expensive and even the pros are less with a 4x4 5ghz band. Since you are getting more of them you don't want the wider dispersion angle of the LR, you want narrower and lower power. The simple answer is yes.I have two Ubiquiti switches, and 4 AP's for my office which is an old 3 story home. I have one AP in our solely for our meeting room, which is a cement room with windows so not ideal for WiFi and it works great in there. Everything is super easy to setup and manage.
