My MX FCR was also easy to tune but that was using a dyno to help. throttle response was about the same really. Like R3 said if your in the woods MX I would do the FCR if your going to be hill shooting and draging I would do the lectron.Any mods to the DRZ400 won't make it a firebreather, but you'll definitely notice the difference with a full (not just a slip-on) aftermarket exhaust and well jetted FCR or CVK, and even the JD kitted stock BSR36. It's lower performance than the fcr but higher performance than the stock vacuum carb on S models, and you don't have to fiddle with it.
