Bungie, please increase the drop rate for the Exotic Glaive's pattern in Wellspring, or add bad luck protection; Trying to obtain one currently is beyond abysmal.

Of the exotics I'm missing, there are the 2 glaives and cloudstrike that I can go grind. That leaves 3 that I have to either get from raids/dungeon by getting lucky, or I have to get with an exotic cipher. If the glaives aren't farmable anymore, that means I would have 5 that I would have to buy with ciphers or get lucky with on raids.

Every so often when I'd think about the other two Exotic Glaives, I'd go to the Enclave's bulletin board and try and get the quest on other characters. That would make sense to be the way you get all the Glaives, through a quest, but nooooo.

Agreed. Drop rate is unreasonable. Just ran Wellspring for several days and nothing. Guess I'll run it 3 times after weekly reset for power gear. Drop rate still stinks but maybe the "bad luck" check ...The ones required for that quest need to be completed twice. World drops require 5 resonance completions. Look at your Triumphs under Patterns and Catalysts. It will tell you how many red weapons you need to unlock for each weapon. You do need several patterns for the pattern to be unlocked for certain weapons.

After completing that it should just give you the exotic pattern.

The patterns can drop while playing ANY class (takes some RNG off). To forge specific exotic glaives though you MUST use the matching class to the glaive. Reply reply
