It has an endcap instead of bands. It is fully a Marlin, just made to a slightly lower price point. $375.00 is not outrageous as a price.
The Glenfield Model 30A is not the Marlin Model 336, but in another sense, it is. The main difference is that the Glenfield has a walnut stained hardwood stock (usually birch) whereas the Marlin as a walnut stock. Depending upon condition, with the scope, it should be in the $350.00 to $400.00 range. If it is pristine like you say, you might be ... Like they said $200 is a far price for one in excellent condition. $2600, must have been looking a something else. 100% blue book of gun values is $220.
