The way the rear rest makes contact with the stock is a very small spot. There is a tiny point of contact on each side of the stock. It can't be in a bind as long as the front bipod feet can slide around. When using this setup the controls are the same as a one piece rest. JW22 and K9TXS.

IMO/IME a rimfire barrel does not need an actual break-in like a CF barrel might, especially since the low pressures and temperatures along with soft bullets in RF ammo will not burn off any burrs etc. which is what CF break-in is all about.Some high end RF barrel makes do suggest running 40-50 rounds through a new barrel but some do not.I'm not worried about using .22 cal. for SD purposes under 100yds. "I pity the fool" at 50yds. or less my S&W422 field pistol shoots interceptors and remington vipers very good to this distance on an 8 inch target. The safety in the Precision works very smoothly and has long levers on both sides better suited for my kids. The Seekin is still stiff and crisp in the AR with fairly square corners. It probably takes more effort & digs in more than I like for a safety.
