It kinda does. There's a small chance from either tincture or any medication found in the game, that you will get sick. I don't remember exactly, but it's something like a 5% or 7% chance. I'll try your cure and see if i get rid of it. Let's hope for the best.

SO I got sick, took some tect. pills. did not work. Found iodine, used right away. (been sick about 10 mins now) popped 1 more tect. and was fixed within 1 min. Now Iodine is part of my main inv. No, they dont. Get your vitals to full and you won't get sick any more. Try to keep warm and dry. You can also disinfect your wounds with typical items. I died from a blood infection not realizing what caused my illness. never heard of that, whoever said that got told some bs or is telling you some bs haha.
Chlorine tabs, or completely empty it then refill it at a water pump... If you got one, pop a chlorine tablet in that baby and it'll be right as rain.
