The guy i got it from said the cdi box was bad is there any way to test it besides putting a known good on. Doesn't seem like an 07 should have a cdi problem. If one does have power then jump it to the other. If the fan comes on, the temp switch is bad. If it doesn't, with the wires still jumped, check for power at the fan. Try this: "Rotate the motor while watching the intake valve open and close. Go to the T mark on the flywheel. This is TDC on the compression stroke. Adjust the intake valve to .13mm and the exhaust to .18mm.Turn off the fuel at the tank and remove the screw from the center of the petcock handle. Remove all of the phillips screws and the two 6mm (10mm head) bolts at the back of the tank holding the tank cover on. It's probably the spring loaded gear selector fork under the shifter assy behind the rear head. it's VERY easy for one side of that spring mechanism to fall off when assembling. this way you don't get a full throw when putting it in gear with the hand shifter.
