This is the worst, time-consuming Palace of all time. You have to navigate the area again in order to turn on the Green Airlocks. You can go through the one you're looking at. If you think that’s bad just wait until you actually get to the fight which is infamous for making some people quit the game.Its literally just a stat check, get a bunch the elemental bombs and having hifumi party swap are both essential. Just try to keep the baton pass up and get max pass to joker or party member with the corresponding affinity. The fight is trivial on merciless because critical damage is 3.5x. You can 1 shot the smaller bots, 2 shot the medium ones ...I do really think there’s a lack of creativity, I mean it’s less creative then other bosses sure but I still don’t think it’s uncreative, if it was uncreative they could have just had okumura be the boss for the entire fight and had him just be strong, I also just don’t find it as that big an issue, I’d rather it be fun and less original then unique and not fun

That's what makes a really well designed boss fight. You don't know what to expect, but by quickly adapting your strategy you can prevail. It feels good and is rewarding to the gamer. Without the right preparations, no amount of adaptation will get you through this fight. You simply won't do enough damage. Like I can easily output 4x more damage than the average person having trouble in this fight without going out of my way. The problem with Okumura is a problem with the entire game, pacing and the games ability to inform you of its mechanics. Okumura's fight requires you to understand the core basics of the battle mechanics. Think about it.Intstead of lowering the difficulty, you should have increased it. The fight is easiest in merciless. Personally, I didn't have much problem, if at all, with any of bosses in P5/P5R, including Okumura.
