Setting those builds aside, I would hazard that 12 bladepact is competitive with just about any other build when looked at as a 1-12 journey. Might be a bit behind some of the gloomstalker/thief builds, maybe sorcadin, but warlock 12 blade in bg3 is very effective. Probably what I would consider a low-a tier choice.

I’m level 11 bladelock and I gotta say I feel pretty strong. You start finding some crazy good weapons in the back half of act 2 that you can pact bind with and I’m keeping up with my Barbarian and Fighter while having the utility of EB if I can’t get to someone.
