I recently picked up a BA (steel) Begara B14R, installed it in an MPA Hybrid chassis, and topped it with Burris XTR Signature rings and a Vortex Viper PST Gen II. b14r especially if you like 2 stage triggers as aftermarket swap. Also better factory ignition system and lockup. Cons are difficult to hand feed due to port size for some compared to CZ and only an 18 barrel. Im waiting for Bergara to release a 21-23" barrel with a larger feed port during or after 2023 if they see the current BR adoption trend.

I have two CZ 452s (.17 HMR & .22 Mag), a CZ 455 (.22), a Tikka T1x (.17 HMR) and a Sako Quad Hunter (.22 & .17M2). All are threaded and shot suppressed except for the CZ varmint in .17 HMR. It's just my opinion but with 23 of the 25 scoring shots staying within a half inch at 50 yards, I think my Bergara did just fine. Shooting at 25 separate bulls - again, …I bought the 457 Varmint. The lightweight synthetic stock made the T1x feel less than a Tikka to me. I love Tikka centerfire rifles but was underwhelmed by the T1x. The 457 Varmint looks and feels like a high quality rifle. Either will be an amazing shooter, but for feel, looks, and pride of ownership it was CZ for me.
