Just went with the Front Diff Cover for me, but TOTALLY LOADED up on ATF, Engine Oil, the Severe Gear, etc etc etc. for my 160k Service. Crazy they spec the transfer case at 45k severe or 97.5k normal but no diff. I'll do my entire drivetrain around 50-60k. Again no science here, just plan on running the wheels of this one ...Any GL-5 rated hypoid gear oil will suffice, per Eaton, who makes the rear diffs for AAM, who makes the axles for GM. I don't know who makes the front diffs, but I can assure you that GL-5 is the correct gear oil spec.
