If you are shooting at 100 yards or less (NRL22), try 12-14 X on the scope. Find a comfortable zoom setting compromise for locating targets in your field of view and being able to see the target clearly. Most PRS shooters I know use about 15-18 power for targets out to 300 yards.

Once a sear engagement adjustment was added in the first year or two, the triggers became pretty darn good. By changing springs and honing the engagement surfaces, most Kimber triggers can be safely reduced to about 1 to 1.5 pounds.

The way the rear rest makes contact with the stock is a very small spot. There is a tiny point of contact on each side of the stock. It can’t be in a bind as long as the front bipod feet can slide around. When using this setup the controls are the same as a one piece rest. JW22 and K9TXS.
