On the barrel it reads "Bollmann & Oppermann, Göttingen" On the chamber it has the: 2,67g GBP N St m G (with crowns over and in front of the N) Proof mark so I believe that indicates it is a pre 1912 model. The only other markings are on the bolt handle which has a 90 or 06 depending on which way you look.The same on a Mauser 1903 in the original caliber of 7.65x53mm. The barrel box assembly must be disassembled to access these markings. Same thing on the 1890 and 1893 models.
