And the Rapier certainly isn't a STR weapon but it has pretty mediocre DEX scaling (and is a DPS machine in spite of this -- mostly because it's fast enough to take advantage of the damage boost rings in the game)The best weapon is the one you enjoy using. The mace is not a bad strength weapon. Can't go wrong with a Longsword.
