Oh awesome thanks. Since I'm working in C++ I was able to just add SessionSettings.bUseLobbiesIfAvailable = true; to my create session call and have it work without copying the steam plugin to the project. That probably doesn't help you if you're doing it in blueprints but I did upvote the issue in bug tracker so hopefully they fix it soon!
