Coho salmon are being caught trolling using orange dodgers with 2-inch slider flies or peanut flies. Water temperatures are reported to be around 45 to 53 degrees. Got out this AM to run the boat after some repairs, Nice to have a boat that now idles with no issues. Caught 2 8" perch and 1 5" crappie. Was more about seeing how the boat ran then fishing. Fished upper Prairie Lake this weekend. Ice was 5 inches but there was visible open water Thursday afternoon in front of Wolf’s Den and south towards Marine Corps Island.
