They have spesific spots to "farm" them but sometimes they dont spawn and you have to reload save or do something in between. Best way is like Mojo said to start collecting those exotics earlier in chapter 2 as soon as you can free roam cause sometimes spawns have been bugged so some exotics are veeery hard to get to spawn when you start the quest.
