One Tetra at a time (until the pill icon goes away) or one vitamin at a time (until the pill icon goes away). You can combine them at the same time to hopefully speed up the process, but it isn't required. Different pills effects stack, but you cannot queue the time on them up (eating two tetra at the same time does not make it last twice as long).

You can eat unlimited amounts of raw food and drink from any water source while the pill icon is displayed from a multi. You can also eat with bloody hands no problem.

So far " soaking wet " has no effect, later it will. As far as healing, the fastest way is to eat and drink. Once you consume enough calories and hydration you become " healthy " once healthy you will heal. The container doesn't harbor diseases. Once you get well, just empty the container and refill it with clean water and/or chlorinate the water and you'll prevent reinfection.
