I would jump on verifying your issue. for the money you spent on the test you could have put a gauge on the cooling system to monitor ...
Last week it started overheating. To date I've replaced the thermostat, water pump, coolant reservoir tank cap and serpentine belt. It's still losing coolant from the reservoir. It doesn't have coolant in the oil, so I'm thinking the head gasket is still good, but don't know what else to check. There's no bleeder port for the coolant.

I can leave the truck setting idled up and looses no coolant. Kenworth looked at it and said the radiator was plugged but agin the truck does not run hot.
Diesel engine (John Deere 6068 ). Open radiator cap. Start the engine cold. One person watches the fluid in the radiator while another person guns the engine and then drops it back to idle rapidly. The water bubbles in the radiator when the gunning/idling occurs but it is not bubbling otherwise. I say it's not a sign of a blown head gasket.

I removed the head and checked the gasket. Gasket is good. The head bolts were loose to start with. Re-torqued the head and fixed that problem. Filled the radiator and ran it for a few minutes.
