Remove your gas cap. Remove your fuel return line at the filter. Remove your vent hose at the charcoal canister. Now you have two options: 1. Blow into each of the lines removed above and pay attention to the pressure. You may have to add a short piece of hose to be able to reach them.If the pump is sending too much fuel to the carb, the float valve will stop the flow of fuel into the bowl. If that return line isn't there, the fuel has no where to go. This could possibly rupture the diaphragm in the fuel pump...depending on the quality of the pump. If that ruptures, you have a direct fuel leak into the crankcase.
