If it's a PRO model just pull the trigger. If it's the NON-PRO model it should have come with an orange "dummy mag" that needs to be inserted before being able to pull the trigger.

Turns out the LC9s slide only needs to go back like 1/2″ to reset the striker anyway, so you can do it with the real magazine inserted without it locking the slide back in the first place. At any rate, ease of dry firing is an extremely distant second to general safety.
