It looks very much like a first variation Model 81 DL made prior to WW II. The difference between a DL and the other Model 81's is that the DL had target style peep sights and equipped with sling swivels. The Model 81 DL was made from 1941 to 1964 (with timeout for WW II) and originally sold for all of $15.15 in 1941.
