Also the heat exchangers don't leak "combustion gasses", there's a reason he only does the bullshit soap bubble test and doesn't use a combustible gas detector. Because there aren't any.Connected to the vent collar, the VID detects whether the vent pipe has been inserted into the collar at a sufficient depth and signals improper installation at the time of setup. Insert pipe at least 3 inches or 76mm into the collar. The Detector is located inside the vent collar to check for proper pipe insertion. This is why Navien’s suck. This is cause by combustion gasses. Chances are it’s the heat exchanger. It’s a common problem. This is also the reason their boards go. It’s been a manufacture defect that they have yet to address.
