Starting in 1968 Ford did away with the Load-O-Matic distributor and the spark control valve and all cars gained the non-SCV carburetor and dual advance distributor. Unfortunately, due to the high sales of 49 state Mustangs from 1965-1967, this means the market is absolutely flooded by the SCV 1100s.
I took the carb off a Cub Cadet RT65 to clean it out and cannot remember how the linkage was set up. The tiller has a Tecumseh engine model oh195EP. I see lots of diagrams of engine parts but no picts of the linkage that are clear. There is a small link that is found on top of the carb that I never see in on-line picts.2.
