There was briefing floating around from 2012ish when I was looking into the new 1B4X1 AFSC. basically 3DXXX would just transition to 1DXXX. so 3D0X2 would become 1D0X2, 3D1X2 to 1D1X2, and so on. no idea whats happening now.For my folks that's currently in the process of retraining into 1D7 I have a question. When you got your 422 back did it say you were qualified for the specific shreds you applied for or or did it just say you were qualified for 1D711? The list is reevaluated a few times a year, so it's hard to say what AFSC will be on there. Some 0X2 and 0X3 in the past, so possible that will continue with 1D7.
