The easiest way to break the Oath is to respec to Oath of the Ancients Paladin and kill a neutral or friendly NPC. This can be easily done in Act 1. If you are in Act 2, just go back and find one of the alive NPCs that are not relevant to quests. To break the Oath you need to act oppositely to what your Oath tells.
