It's pretty solid t2 armor, it mostly gets overlooked because Lady Bug is arguably better than most t3 armors. Yes lady bug is very good t2 heavy armor and with it's traits is viable over most t3 as well. Minus the more stamina drain of heavy armors. So it aounds like I should focus on upgrading the ladybug armor and ignore the black ant armor.

Haze then Picnic Table then Trash Heap then Black Ant Hill then Sandbox then Broodmother would be the order I'd recommend. The Ant Club is the best early game weapon but definitely ditch the Ant Armor. I've been using Spider Armor 99% of the time after this update. I only swapped it out for the Broodmother. For Black Ants I used the Insect Bow.
