Seems to go away in 4A and 4hi. The check valve seems to be working properly and I have good suction on my finger coming out of the solenoid.When the vacuum builds when the engine is started, the vacuum from the intake via a vacuum line exerts vacuum on the entire IWE system all the way to the actuators. The first check valve locks the vacuum at the highest vacuum that is exerted from the engine from that check valve down. First thing you want to do is take the vacuum lines off the IWE solenoid and plug the constant vacuum, then take it for a drive and see if you have 4wd or not. Disconnecting the IWE should release the hubs so they lock on.

Update: Dealer is awaiting a part from Ford which is currently looking to come in 2/8, but that date could change. I am hopeful but skeptical the IWE replacement will solve this as the dealer went above and beyond and even attempted to swap another IWE off another brand new 23 F-150 on their lot and now they both make the noise.
