It's because you are letting the RPMs get to high with the Jake on. "Feather" your jake between hi and low and use you brakes a very little and the problem goes away. There would have to be alot of mod done to the 6.7 to get a Jake to work. The cost would not help neither, the newer diesel use exhaust brake. The only ones I see are on the Detroit, those are the older models DDEC'S and series 60. The new Internationals MaxxForce 13 use exhaust brake, which make you think why they are changing to exhaust.
