I’ve had CarPlay device / iPhone stop working usually with either a Wi-Fi or blue tooth failure. Sometimes going into settings on phone and manually connecting phone to device on either BT or WI-FI will fix. Sometimes turning both WI-FI and BT off and back on on iPhone fixes it.I recently changed from iPhone XS which worked flawlessly with CarPlay, to iPhone 14 with the latest iOS 16 and now my CarPlay will only stay connected for 1-3 minutes before disconnecting. I have/had various systems with Bluetooth connections for CarPlay. Each and everyone has/had issues using BT connections consistently. In my '21 JT I use a BT dongle to replace the wire which of course adds an additional device into the mix. The '24 may be better, but don't expect too much.

I have taken my new 2021 Jeep Wrangler into the dealership 4 times so far for a USB connector that does not work in the center console. They replaced the radio. The next appointment they say they will replace the center console again. Android phones work but we tried 8 different Apples with many cords that were Apple cords and none would work.I have had my 4xe for close to a year and absolutely love it! One annoying issue though is the center console USB does not work with CarPlay. When my phone is plugged in, it will disconnect within 10 seconds. It charges but other than that it's useless. In order to use CarPlay, I have to plug into the dash USB port.Car play app only shows when it's connected. Restart jeep/phone. Turn sirii on/off. Other than that, car play sucks.
