It’s almost the same size, has the same 15+1 capacity, and similar grip angle. For those looking for a first carry piece but don’t want to splurge on a G19, this is a great option. It’s reliable, concealable, and easy to rack due to a lighter recoil spring. But it has a hammer, which in my opinion is a good thing. But the Security 9 is a very functional pistol. Accuracy is not quite as good as the American Pistol, but it is adequate. I like the trigger. I hate the sights, probably spend the $77 and get a proper set of steel sights from Ruger.
