Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. The A/T III will do fine with a spec of 8" minimum.

The 6.2 with 3.73s will be a dog, I'm willing to bet even with 4.30s. Yes, you'll need to move up to about a 4.30 gear to have the same drivability. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. Those tires are basically 33's and it does just fine, but you would definitely want a steeper gear with 37's.I have a 6" lift sitting on 35s. Bought the truck like this and I think 37s would fill in the gap a little better. 35s look a little on the smaller side of things. I think less lift or more tire is the winning combo. 35" tires with a 1" front lift that slid the front axle forward 1" as well.Heck with a set of Street Scene cut out flares you can probably run 40's on stock wheels with a 2.5" lift but that would be a ton of cutting and the rub on the radius arms would be crazy. The tires did not hit the wheel wells but they did rub the frame pretty bad at full turn. The tires were 37x12.50 nitto trail grappler. You can do all the lift you want but the tires are going to rub the frame with the factory wheels because of the off set.That half inch up front won't make a difference whatsoever. The 2020 F250 uses a shorter rear block, looks to be 2" vs. the 17-19 3.25". That difference again, has no affect on 37's but might give a saggy rear look with 2.5" up front. You said adding rear blocks, if needed, isn't a problem.

I get 9.5 mpg towing my 6Kish lb pontoon boat and 11-12.5 around the city. I haven’t had it on a road trip yet where I keep a constant speed.
