I suspect it is the same problem myself and many other people have. Your file that actually loads will probably exhibit the same problem when you progress to the same week of the season.We cannot load our offline franchises. It is not individual files. No Trial doesn't end until 10 hours are used up. that part of the load bar means its having issues trying to connect to the EA servers. It would happen to me on 22 and after a while it will load to the main menu but not be connected to the EA servers. Remember, its Day 1. Day 2 of madden 24 release and I have run into the same problem. Final week of preseason I signed a bunch of players before cutting down and now i have 15-20 players not on my team but counts towards player count.

It sucks for those of us who lost a lot of time on the old files, but as long as the franchise I restart works fine then I'm not going to worry about it to much. If it doesn't work I hope that the team continues to try and fix it as urgently as they can because this issue could easily bleed over to Madden 23 if they plan to use the same system.
