I titled the thread that way, but I may have mistaken how it shows up. Thanks for letting me know I messed up.The original tiny frame H & R single was the Model 1905 which took down by means of a removable hinge pin. Originally it was offered in 24-gauge, 28-gauge, 14mm/32-gauge and .44XL shot. Depending which way I point the barrel, the serial number is either 68999 or 66689. Its saying the first version started in 1927 with the Serial Numbers starting with 125xxx. I inherited one from my Great Grandfather and the Serial Number starts with 124xxx. That is before the 1927 version starting with 125xxx.
