Apparently this is a common problem with Odyssey, melted sliding door stopper. My left side failed off one day but I could not figure it out what it was for, then my right side melted and made a mess similar to the OP. I just now figured it out and ordered 2 replacement ones from local Honda dealer for $6.50 ea. The part # is 72557-S0X-A00.
