Rossi 92 rear sight replacement.
It's only a $100 gun. I should be cost-conscious about any upgrades. After trodding around the interwebs I found you can order new factory sights, both front and rear, for about $20 from here: Shop Rossi Rimfire Rifles . I think that'll be the way to go, just have an extra set on hand for when the invertible happens.

The Rossi Model 92's trigger is simply outstanding for a lever-action rifle. It has a short pull which is almost completely smooth, with only one minuscule spot of 'grit' before the perfectly crisp and predictable break. The pull measures an absolutely consistent 4.0 pounds, with only a modest amount of overtravel.
