If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse. Before replacing fuses check that the key has been removed from the ignition and that all the services are switched off and/or disengaged. Yes, that is a "kit." But Maestro makes interfaces and cables that interface with the factory connections that WILL work for a 2009 truck. The trim plate in the "kit" is year specific. I posted the Sony 8inch thread because it explains that for some years you will need to use other mounting solutions.
