I had a membrane sweep yesterday (38 weeks) and doctor said my cervix was at 1cm and very favourable. Since then I've had intermittent cramping and irregular braxton hicks. Lost ?mucus plug this morning - clear, not bloody.With my first I lost the mucus plug around 39weeks and nothing happened for a while. I had some blood when the did a strech n sweep of my membranes but nothing significant. I finally went into labour 10 days after my due date. I didn't get the bloody show till I was well into labour (close to 7 cms before they broke).First of all, the term mucus plug is gross AF. I’m a FTM, 38+6 today. For some reason I was worried I wouldn’t know if I lost my mucus plug. Well, I started losing a few “chunks” of it randomly over the past month (which is normal! It regenerates). This Tuesday I opted for a membrane sweep because I am DONE.I am a FTM at 40+4 and finally dilated yesterday. I had been closed all my past appointments. My dr did a membrane sweep at about 11ish yesterday and today at about 9am I lost my mucous plug.
