Nov 3, 2018 · Posted November 3, 2018. I REALLY enjoyed stepping up to the stage 2 Super H spring of 1968, May 8th If I remember correctly. Lots faster and more powerful than the '39 H it replaced. SH was a lot simpler to service, but a 300/350 with TA, LPTO, maybe even factory PS lot easier to use on lots of jobs. Re: Farmall H snowblower I have a 40 hp kubota with a single auger 2 stage blower 66"wide does a great job in 2 feet of snow. Live pto is the way to go. also has 8spd fwd and reverse. Most snowblowers are rated by hp but the problem comes when you need the width to cover the wheels.The wider you go the more hp you need hope this helps you. Joe

Jan 9, 2019. #1. The typical H and M had the battery under the fuel tank. When the live hydraulic pumps got put on the Later M's and H's and supers the battery moved to under the seat and the hydraulic tank got put under the tank. This move was on the hundred series also. This lasted till the 60 series came out in the later 50's.
Today's cars and trucks have 200-250A alternators available, and dual alternator options over 350A. My semi tractor had one BIG 12V battery and a huge 100A alternator about the size of a 3-5 hp electric motor.
