UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. I've been getting 70-80% on UWorld, which I think agrees with my FL1 CARS score of 127. Keep in mind I've also done all of TPR 2016, EK101, and NS108. Uworld biochem is KICKING my butt. Same bro. Listen: Biochem is known to be hard in UWORLD, harder even than the other parts of UWorld. UWORLD is beautiful. It is life. It is very dissimilar to what you might see on the AAMC, because it is extremely content based and trying to really hone that content knife to a point.The MCAT focuses more on responding to lengthy passages, so you’ll need to be able to synthesize, understand, and analyze written passages quickly to do well on the exam. The DAT is also far shorter than the MCAT, so if you struggle with testing endurance or anxiety, the MCAT may prove to be a bigger challenge for you.The explanations are the best of any question bank I've used. They're detailed without being overdone. The notebook and flashcard features are very handy. The options for test-making are flexible, so you can really tailor the question blocks to your needs. 10/10 times I'd choose UWorld for studying for any big exam. There's no comparison.

You gotta spend hours doing all of Uworld. You can get a passing step 1 without studying, but you aren't getting a 260 without studying a ton. If you're doing jack shit in class and getting a good score on step, then you spend hours and hours outside doing sketchy, Uworld, anki, etc. MCAT you can absolutely get >90th percentile without studying.

After having studied uworld for 2 weeks by this time, archer made a lot more sense and I did a lot better. The actual test was set up exactly like archer. As far as the material, uworld gives MUCH better rationales. The test though looks exactly like archer and has shorter questions like archer.I have about 1200 questions left of uworld and about 600 questions left of aamc questions packs. The questions are more content oriented than aamc questions but after aamc material, it was the best in preparing me ... But I found UWorld on par with the harder section banks imo.
