Hello everyone. I'm a newbie here. I have had a kfx700 for a few years now with zero issues till now. I let it sit a year unused with gas in it and now nothing but issues. I took the carbs off and cleaned them as well as replaced the jet and gaskets. Also the valves got adjusted. The problem I'm having now is backfiring from the rear cylinder.

It will be his first ATV and while I am very good mechanically with Cars and Trucks, I have never owned an ATV, so its new to me. We couldn't afford to buy a new one, which is why we bought a used one.I have a 2008 KFX450R and am currently having problems. Back in 2008, the fi light kept coming on (steady). The bike came with a FMF 4.1 pipe, and wasn't tuned ran good for some time than it wouldn't start (lean). I got it tuned and the light kept reoccuring afterward, usually kicking in at about 45 minutes.

The new kfx90 is a four stroke. Kawasaki is no longer in bed with Suzuki so they do not sell the kfx80 or 50 anymore. Well they do still sell a 50 but it is also a Kymco four stroke.
