You shouldn't be clamping the receiver to remove muzzle devices. This can stretch the entire receiver body. It's only aluminum. You need to clamp the barrel as close to the device as possible or use a barrel extention bar that locks the lugs. Share.

Those upper receivers that you linked are meant to be used for the virtus handguards with m-lok. One thing to consider is that the mcx lowers are compatible with either the legacy or virtus uppers. I have a legacy and am considering purchasing one of these uppers with a handguard in the near future when I am no longer wanting to use keymod.
