Mdt xrs vs krg bravo.
I am in need of some help making a decision. I just traded for a new CZ 457 Varmint 22 LR. I have narrowed my choices down to either the KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS. The only chassis I have ever owned was an Oryx. I know that I don't want to go that route again. As far as ergonomics go, they appear to be pretty close.

I am using a factory barrel and to the lands with 140 ELD is 2.945 OAL and my best performer is 2.925. 6.5 Creedmoor. Loaded that long, the tip doesn't feed reliably and 75% just nose dives into the KRG magwell.I have an MDT xrs chassis for a different rifle, the MDT stuff is nice but expensive. I kindve want to keep the ctr magazines because they feed better (easier) than the aics mags in the bravo chassis. Another choice I may be interested in would be a manners t4a. The factory Ruger American 450 bushmaster magazine works for my Ruger American predator in 6.5cm (which uses the 308 multi caliber magazine). Fast forward to today > swapped my KRG bravo for a MDT ACC (on blem sale for $600). I was more than happy about the change. That being said i have nothing bad to say about the Bravo, they are in 2 different classes feature wise. Still run a Bravo on a few setups.
The best option Id say is the Oryx, and then the field stock when its launched later this year. On the LSS there really isn’t a maximum, but depending on the contour of the barrel the longer and heavier you go the harder it is to balance the rifle overall. The stock is really nice and the accuracy is outstanding. I have two Bergara B14 HMR Wilderness Rifles in 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC .
