The first full moon of 2024 rose on Thursday January 25th, the Wolf Moon. This January’s Moonlit Snowshoe Hike on January 27th, corresponded with the annual Snowshoe Hare event which included multiple activities celebrating snowshoeing in the Keweenaw, and was under the Wolf Moon.2023-2024 Winter Take-Out Dinners. From December 15th (2023) to March 31 (2024), lodging guests will be able to receive a complimentary take-out dinner (Monday-Saturday) that can be picked up between 5-6pm at the Lodge and taken back to their cabin. In 2018, the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge began working with the Copper Harbor Trails Club on the Back 9 Trails on the Lodge property for mountain biking activities. Walking the property in 2018 after a 10 Million Cups event, representatives of the Lodge and the Trails Club were able to design desperately needed beginner trails.
