Our ongoing mission. What started out as an idea over lunch at Macy*s has become a fully formed resident community orchestra that is comprised of accomplished and engaged senior citizens, making classical music available to a wide audience through free concerts, and enriching New York City's cultural life. Our kids auditioned against all public and private school instrumentalists in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax. Only a handful of students are accepted on each instrument.
